On Thursday, March 28, OFN held an information call about the 2011 Wachovia Wells Fargo NEXT Awards for Opportunity Finance. OFN staff members Donna Fabiani and Jon Schwartz led the call, which also featured past Awardees Grace Fricks, President and CEO of Access to Capital for Entrepreneurs, and Salli Martyniak, President of Forward Community Investments. This call centered on the $25,000 awards, and covered topics like why CDFIs should apply and what the benefits are of being an Awardee. The call also gave participants the opportunity to ask questions about the application process and about what it means to be NEXT.
