The CFPB recently released proposed regulations on small-dollar loans in an effort to curb predatory practices by payday and auto title lenders, and has extended an open comment period on the rules that will close on Friday, October 7. Presenters from Opportunity Finance Network and the Center for Responsible Lending will discuss the broad implications of the rules on small-dollar lending, specific components of the rules and how they may or may not affect small-dollar loan products offered by CDFIs.
